Education and Juvenile
The Connecticut education laws can be quite complicated and it is easily for a parent who has a child with special needs to become confused as to what their child is entitled to in terms of services. At Farrell, Leslie and Grochowski we have the advantage of having an attorney who was part of the system for over thirty years. Lynne Farrell served as a teacher and principal in the West Haven school system prior to starting her “retirement job” as an attorney. She decided to go to law school after retiring as an educator for the sole purpose of helping children. She is experience in helping parents obtain the educational services that their child needs and to which they are entitled. She has also represented numerous children in disciplinary proceedings.
When an agreement can not be reached regarding what services are most beneficial to a child, Farrell, Leslie and Grochowski can serve as an effective representative for the parents and the child.
